Ungating On Amazon: Tips and Tricks

Here are some tips and tricks to help you ungate brand on Amazon.

You can check out the more detailed guide here or watch the video here. I suggest you read/watch all three resources to make sure the info really sinks in, especially if you are newer to Amazon.

Ungate Guide, Tips and Tricks

✅ Billing address on the invoice must match your seller details on your Amazon account – Ideally, they should match identically, including spaces, etc. This helps you get past the Amazon Bots, which sometimes auto-reject applications.

✅ Proof of purchase invoice for 10 units or more. Even a single 10-pack of an item counts as 10 units. If you are unsure if a site gives an invoice suitable for ungating you can use software like OA Hero.

✅ Some brands like Oral-B require 100 units. Check what is asked for on the ungate page for that particular brand.

✅ If you are using an Amazon invoice to ungate, you need 50 units minimum.

✅ You don’t need to have all 10 units on a single invoice; multiple invoices can be used.

✅ You don’t need to purchase the exact item you’re trying to ungate; it just needs to be from the same brand.

✅ You must provide an invoice; receipts, order confirmations, or pro-forma invoices are not accepted.

If you get rejected

✅ Submit the invoice again for the same case; you must repeatedly try until it is accepted.

✅ DO NOT open a new case if you get rejected; keep trying on the same case.

✅ You can include a picture of the items to help prove you have the items in hand.

✅ If you have no luck after 20 attempts, close the case, wait seven days, and try again on a different ASIN with that brand.
