Networking has been the single most powerful tool in my Amazon FBA journey. It’s not just about growing a business, it’s about growing as a person, finding support, and surrounding yourself with the right people. In this blog, I want to share my personal experience with networking, how it completely changed the trajectory of my FBA journey, and why I believe it’s one of the best decisions you can make.
I’ll share two stories: one about how I built a small network at the start of my journey, and another about how a simple message eventually led me to writing these very blogs.

Building My First Network
When I was about five months into my journey, I was doing reasonably well for a part timer, around £50,000 in revenue and just over £10,000 profit. But despite the numbers, I felt isolated. I didn’t have many people to talk to or share experiences with.
I’d heard people say that networking could be a game changer, so I decided to give it a go. In one of the groups I was part of, I posted my results and wrote something like this:
“These are my results after five months. I’m looking to team up with others who are doing similar numbers and have similar experience. If that’s you, feel free to get in touch.”
The reason I highlighted “similar numbers and experience” was simple, you want people at your level. It’s great to have mentors ahead of you, but they might not get the same value from you as you do from them. When everyone’s on the same playing field, you get balance.
From that post, a group of four was formed. Fast forward 18 months, and we’re still together. That group has been one of the strongest pillars in my journey.
Here’s why:
- Leads multiplied – Share one lead, and suddenly you’ve got three more coming in from the others.
- Rapid support – Got a question? The group is there with quick answers.
- Motivation – When life gets in the way, they remind you to keep going.
- Backup – If you’re on holiday or dealing with personal issues, the group keeps the ship sailing.
- Growth – We’ve even taken on virtual assistants together, splitting wages and training across the group.
That network has been priceless. Beyond the business side, I’ve also made friends, and that’s something money can’t buy.
Networking Leading To Opportunity
The second story is how I came to write these blogs. It started with me watching FBA Mogul’s videos on YouTube. I liked the content, it felt honest and authentic. So, I decided to reach out.
I sent a simple message along these kind of lines:
“I really resonate with your videos. They’re genuine, authentic, and I appreciate the value you share.”
That was it. No big pitch, just being authentic and showing appreciation for the help its given me. From that simple message, a conversation started. And from that conversation, an opportunity arose for me to begin writing blogs here, which has been an amazing experience and a real privilege.
That’s the essence of networking, it’s about authenticity, being genuine, and treating people like friends. It doesn’t always have to start with business. Sometimes it’s just a human conversation. And from there, real relationships develop.

Final Thoughts
Looking back, networking has been the single most powerful tool I’ve used to grow in Amazon FBA. It has given me support, motivation, knowledge, friendships, and opportunities I could never have found on my own.
My advice to you is simple: reach out and start networking. Post in a group, message someone you respect, or just start a conversation. You never know where it could lead.
If you want to develop yourself, grow your business, and make friends along the way, networking is the key.
